28/7/08

How do you fancy taking on the Youth Council Website? I would like to move on and take on new challenges - this is a great opportunity for any of you budding web designers or people with an interest in graphics, photography, journalism or web design. Help and assistance can be provided with the added possibility of some training if required.

Regards

Lyndon Moffat

26/6/08 - NLSQBC MEMBERS AND THE JOHN MUIR AWARD

I intend to start providing the John Muir Environmental Award for club members. Family groups can also complete the award. By starting now, it will be completed by October.
Many members have already indicated that they would like to start the Award. Well, what is it about and how do you get started? - register with me via
rangerbobreid@gmail.com
What do I need to do after that and What is involved in completing the Award?
The Award has three parts and three sections.
The Head (Knowledge), The Hands (Doing something for Nature) and the Heart (Caring about Nature). It about discovering a new place.
What will I need to do? -Well you are already doing things, which will go towards the award, such as the Club’s Code of Conduct, understanding the importance of our Environmental and Carbon off Set Policies, also our “taking your Litter Home”

05/06/08 - YOUTH WEBSITE REPUBLISHED

After months of waiting, the new site is up and running. Yes there is not much colour yet and yes, there is not much content but this is just the basic design before it all gets coloured up.
The site will now feature updates such as what happened at Youth Council meetings, a more filling list of motocross games and helpful links as well as showing you the contents of the Event Shop

05/06/08 - YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE CLUB

If you want the chance to win a mystery prize which is 100% guaranteed not to be a mug or an object of the same value read on here! Write a short paragraph in 50 words or less on what the club has done for you, whether it helped build your confidence, make new friends or give you that little push in life. e-mail it to us and the best will win a prize and the top few will be displayed on the website.

05/06/08 - HELP WITH THE WEBSITE!

If you know any useful websites or any games or even manuals related to motocross, please e-mail them so we can add them onto the site. This would help considerably in the range of content available within the Youth Council Website.
