We had a very successful Presentation Dinner Dance again at the Cambusnethen
Social Club in Wishaw with the 2006 Adult Volunteer of the Year Award being
presented to Jim Marshall for his commitment to the club events throughout the year.
A Special Award was also presented to Sam Dowie for his outstanding achievement in his
first year of Quad Racing.
William Graham, Brett McGinn and Andrew Waddell received their MA Award for
their work in volunteering in the club’s Big Brother/ Sister Programme. All riders were presented with a wooden plaque with the new club badge as the centre piece. I thank the membership for the present I received and their special award of a piece of Piping music composed by Piper Jim Henderson titled “Leavin’ Balbackie” which I ask Jim to compose.
